FAAM is building a Gigafactory in Teverola for the production of cells, modules, and battery packs for Electric Vehicle, Energy Storage, Industrial, and Special applications.

In joining us you will take part in a very strategic project for the European lithium battery value chain.

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer for our Quality team located in Teverola, Caserta, Italy with a strong ability to develop and lead supplier quality activities, and ensure outmost quality within our supply chain.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, purpose-drive professional who wants to help us in the deployment of one of the most important projects in Europe.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate supplier quality activities.
  • Manage supplier communication for quality activities.
  • Ensure supplier quality deliverables during process development, industrialization, launch and production.
  • Support definition of Supplier Quality Manual and supplier quality requirements.
  • Execute supplier audits and ensure compliance to quality standards, norms and best practices.
  • Set up quality monitoring procedures, evaluate supplier quality performance and establish improvement plans.
  • Drive analysis and problem-solving activities (e.g. 8D, Six Sigma).
  • Lead Supplier Quality improvement plan and ensure continuous improvement in production.
  • Monitor Supplier Quality KPIs (e.g. Quality complaints) and lead action plan to meet targets.
  • Generate and integrate Lesson learned in new product/process launches.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical engineering.
  • At least 3/6 years of experience in Supplier Quality in mass manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a battery company is a STRONG PLUS.
  • Experience in Quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, Six sigma, QRQC) and Quality management systems (ISO 9001) is a MUST.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is a MUST.
  • Fluency in Italian (oral and written) is a STRONG PLUS.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility and to manage tight deadlines.
