FIB S.p.A. and Eni Industrial Evolution have finalized the operational agreements for the joint development of an integrated industrial value chain dedicated to lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.
The initiative includes the production of battery cells and modules, the assembly of battery energy storage systems (BESS) for stationary applications and industrial and commercial electric mobility, with future developments also covering recycling activities and strategic material production.
The project will be developed across the Teverola and Brindisi industrial hubs, strengthening Italian and European industrial capabilities in the battery and energy storage sectors.
