Faam Teverola 2 Durr

The development of FAAM’s gigafactory in Teverola represents a major milestone in the company’s industrial growth and in the expansion of advanced lithium-ion cell production capacity in Southern Europe.

With a planned capacity of 8 GWh and a focus on high-performance prismatic cells for battery energy storage systems (BESS), the project reflects FAAM’s commitment to scaling sustainable manufacturing and reinforcing Europe’s battery value chain.

The initiative is supported by key technology partners such as Dürr, whose equipment contributes to critical production stages including coating, solvent recovery and finishing processes.

More than a manufacturing facility, the Teverola project represents an important step in FAAM’s long-term roadmap toward technological autonomy, sustainable production and the creation of lasting value within Europe’s battery ecosystem.
