We are looking for a Software & Firmware Engineer with experience in software development, implementation, and optimization for microcontroller-based systems, to create and ensure the proper functioning of software that controls and manages electronic devices and embedded systems, who want to work with us in Teverola, Caserta, Italy.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, purpose-drive professional who wants to help us in the deployment of one of the most important projects in Europe.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, development and testing of software that controls microcontrollers used in embedded devices and systems.
- Use programming languages such as C, C++, Assembly and other high-level languages to write efficient and reliable code for microcontrollers.
- Identify and solve software problems, through in-depth debugging and analysis techniques, to ensure that microcontrollers operate correctly and without errors.
- Work with hardware engineers to integrate software into microcontrollers, ensuring that software is compliant and optimized for hardware specifications.
- Working to improve software performance by reducing power consumption and optimizing the computational efficiency of microcontrollers.
- Conduct testing and verify software functionality, both at the unit and system level, to ensure the stability and quality of the final product.
- Preparing detailed technical documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications, to support the software development process and use.
- Keep abreast of new technologies, tools and methodologies to continuously improve skills and development practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded architectures, and major programming languages used in the industry.
- Experience in microcontroller software development, preferred in real-world projects or academic settings.
- Knowledge of software development and debugging tools for microcontrollers.
- Ability to analyze technical specifics and translate them into functional code.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team working aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Good knowledge of technical English, for consulting international documentation and resources.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
